The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth recently published the General Scheme of the Equality (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2024 (the Bill). The draft legislation proposes certain changes to both the Employment Equality Act and the Workplace Relations Act 2015. Though still at a very early stage, Organisations should note that the heads of the Bill include changes in the areas of pay transparency, positive action and increases in time limits to make WRC claims.
