Communicating Total Reward to Employees is a critical, but sometimes overlooked aspect of an effective reward system. There are many examples of Organisations who spend well above average on rewards, but whose Employees rate their packages as below average. In most of these cases, a significant reason for the disconnect is the absence of an effective communication strategy and associated processes.
Total Reward Statements are one way HR Leaders can build out an effective Total Rewards Communication system.
This Sample Total Reward Statement can be used by the HR Leader to reflect to Employees, the actual compensation they received during a given year, together with the cost of the employee benefits provided to them and their family, as applicable.
